This Privacy Policy describes how Digiwebxperts LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use OmNamah. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Name, email address, and password (account registration)
Community / language preference
Date of birth and birth city (optional, used for panchang and astrology features)
Profile photo (optional)
Deity preferences and spiritual interests

Automatically Collected Information

Device type, OS version, and app version
IP address and general location (city/region level)
Usage analytics: screens viewed, features used, session duration
Crash reports and performance data
Push notification token (if you enable notifications)

Purchase Information

Subscription status and entitlement level (via RevenueCat)
Payment details are handled by Apple or Google — we never see or store full card numbers

2. How We Use Your Information

Provide and personalize App features (panchang, festivals, mantras) in your language and community
Process and verify your subscription status
Send transactional emails (receipts, password reset, account updates) via Resend
Send SMS verification or notifications via Twilio (where applicable)
Improve App performance and fix bugs using crash data
Respond to your support requests
Comply with legal obligations

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the App:

RevenueCat: Subscription management — shares subscriber ID and entitlement status
Apple / Google: In-app purchase processing
Resend: Email delivery (receives email address)
Twilio: SMS delivery (receives phone number if applicable)
DigitalOcean: Cloud infrastructure and media hosting (US-based data centers)

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

4. Data Retention

Active account data: retained while your account is active plus 12 months after last login
Inactive accounts: data deleted after 24 months of inactivity
Upon account deletion request: data deleted within 30 days
Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be retained indefinitely

5. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated personal data at any time by: (a) going to Settings → Delete Account within the App, or (b) emailing omnamah.co@gmail.com with “Delete My Account” in the subject. Deletion is processed within 30 days. This does not cancel your App Store / Google Play subscription automatically — cancel that separately in your device settings.

6. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

OmNamah is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us information may contact us at omnamah.co@gmail.com.

7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA / Global)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
Deletion: Request deletion of your data (see Section 5)
Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
Opt-out of marketing: Unsubscribe from any marketing emails via the link in the email
CCPA (California): California residents may opt out of the “sale” of personal data. We do not sell personal data.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls on our servers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies & Tracking

The App does not use advertising cookies. Our website (omnamah.co) may use essential cookies for session management. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

10. International Users

OmNamah is operated from the United States. If you are located outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the App, you consent to this transfer. We comply with applicable data protection laws including GDPR for EU/EEA users.

11. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to external websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Please review their privacy policies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
